Testimony of Shoshana (Rozengarten) Bodenstein, born in Wola Zarczycka, Poland, 1932, regarding her experiences as a child in Lowisko, Sokolow , in hiding and using a false identity Life before the war; her parents own farming land; move to Lowisko. Outbreak of the war, 1939; restrictions on the Jews including ban to attend school; attends a "heder" with boys; deportation to the Sokolow Ghetto, 1940; ghetto life; escape of the men to the Soviet Union and their escape to return to the ghetto; yellow badge; death of her grandparents; her sister is entrusted with Poles; her brother is entrusted to Poles in exchange for money and his death; in hiding with her parents in an attic; placed in a Polish house under a false name; life in hiding including labor as a shepherd and cleaning. Reunion with her mother; aliya to Eretz Israel onboard the ship "Hatikvah", 1947.
