Annexation to Hungary; deportation of Jews without Hungarian citizenship to Poland; deportation to the Mateszalka Ghetto, 1944; his father brings a Torah scroll to the ghetto; ghetto life; deportation of his family to Auschwitz-Birkenau; separation form the family; transfer to Buchenwald; camp life including labor hauling rocks; transfer to Magdeburg; camp life including labor digging out anti-air-raid tunnels; transfer to Schlieben; camp life including labor in an ammunitions factory; transfer to Theresienstadt; liberation by the Red Army, May 1945.
