Testimony of Moshe Marshalek, born in Rokitno, Poland, 1928, regarding his experiences in the Rowno Ghetto, in hiding in a forest, in hiding in Blazowa and with the partisans Life before the war in Rowno; attends a Tarbut school. Soviet occupation, 1939; transfer to Rokitno with the German occupation, summer 1941; ghetto life; concentration of the Jews in a field; escape in the direction of Sarny; kills a Ukrainian soldier; in hiding in a swampy part of the forest; life in hiding including labor on a farm in Blazowa; joins the partisans and demolition of a German train; liberation by the Red Army. Return to Rokitno; adoption by his uncle; joins a Hashomer Hatzair settlement group in Beuthen; return of his father and two brothers from the Soviet Union; works with children in DP camps in Germany until 1949; aliya to Israel, 1949; life on Kibbutz Reshafim.
