Romanian occupation, 1941; restrictions on the Jews including yellow badge; deportation to the Peshchanitsa Ghetto; ghetto life including help from Ukrainians from Obodovka; theft of property; burning of the Peshchanitsa Ghetto by Romanian soldiers; transfer to the Bershad Ghetto; ghetto life; transfer to forced labor; sexual abuse by the Romanians; burning of the ghetto and damage to her hearing; escape, January 1942; capture and being drafted to forced labor; partisan activity in the area including the deaths of policemen, January 1942; finds a hiding place on a roof; escape to the Bessarabia area; liberation, 1944.
