Soviet occupation, 1939; witness' father's work in a factory; German occupation, 1941; her father's escape from the deportation train; finds a hiding place; deportation to the Kopyczynce Ghetto; ghetto life including deportations; help from an uncle who worked in the Judenrat; family moves to a farm near Horostkow; escape to Kopyczynce, hidden by a non-Jewish friend; life in hiding; sexual harassment by the host; family escapes to Podwoloczyska, summer 1944; diminished health condition and escape to Kopyczynce; escape to Iasi; escape to Cernauti; escape to Bucharest.
Move to Bulgaria by train with help from emissaries from Eretz Israel, January 1945; unsuccessful attempt to arrest her on the train by British soldiers; receives care from the Jewish community in the synagogue in Stara Zagora; move to Istanbul by train; move to Lebanon; aliya to Eretz Israel, February 1945; leaves Israel; return aliya to Israel, 1969.
