German occupation; aliya training; arrest by the Soviet authorities; escape to the Soviet Union, 1941; transfer to Stalingrad; camp life including labor digging pits and in refineries; attempt to enlist in Anders Army; detention; drafted into the Red Army; combat in Berlin and liberation of a women's camp in the Sudetenland.
