Outbreak of the war; escape to Cernauti; German occupation; deportation to the Cernauti Ghetto, 1941; transfer to Mogilev-Podolskiy; liberation by the Red Army.
Move to Botosani with help from the JDC; move to Bucharest, 1946; aliya to Eretz Israel with Youth Aliyah on the ship, "Hagana", 1946.
