German occupation, 1944; return to Szarvas; deportation to the Szarvas Ghetto; deportation to a transit camp in a sugar factory in Szolnik; camp life; air-raids; transfer to Guntersdorf by freight train, 1944; camp life including agricultural labor; labor in a textile factory preparing clothing for German soldiers; the Germans flee, 1945. Walk to Budapest; return to Szarvas on a freight train; marriage, 1946; return to Budapest; aliya attempt to Eretz Israel on the ship, "Hatikvah" via Austria; detention in Cyprus, 1947; aliya to Israel, 1948.
