Restrictions and bans; closure of the witness' father's shop; annexation to Hungary, 1938; concentration of the Jews in two synagogues; deportation to a brick factory, May 1944; deportation to Auschwitz by train, June 1944; separation of the elderly and very young children from the others; transfer to Plaszow, July 1944; camp life including labor as a porter; her sister's assignment to kitchen duties and smuggling food; transfer to Auschwitz, September 1944; camp life including her sister's hospitalization; escape to be with her sister; transfer to Kratzau; camp life including labor in a gas mask factory; liberation, May 1945. Return home; wanderings between Trebisov and Presov; her sister's death in Bergen-Belsen; marriage, 1948; aliya to Israel, 1949.
