German occupation, 1944; deportation with his mother to the Ujpest Ghetto; draft of his father and brothers to forced labor; deportation to a brick factory in Budapest; rescue by his future father-in-law; move to the international Colombus camp; camp life, July-December 1944; marriage; deportation with young men to Bergen-Belsen, 14 December 1944; camp life and giving lectures in the camp; typhus; transfer to Troebitz; liberation. Recuperation and return home; continuation of studies at university; ordained as a rabbi; appointment as a rabbi of Ujpest until 1950; escape; aliya to Israel, 1950.
