Outbreak of the war, 01 September 1939; family escapes to Luck, 03 September 1939; life under Communist rule; deportation of the family to Siberia, June 1940; life in a punishment camp in Taiga; mail contact with relatives in Poland; outbreak of war between Germany and the Soviet Union, June 1941; release; wanderings in Yangi Yul; disease; hospitalization; black market work; help given to Polish refugees by her father; liberation, 09 May 1945.
Return to Poland; move to Germany; aliya to Eretz Israel, 1948.
