Outbreak of the war, 1939; labor of her father as a dentist in a German Army camp, 1941; shooting of her mother and brother; hidden by her grandfather in a flour mill that he owned; in hiding with a Polish farmer named Anna Ciesla, who was later recognised as a Righteous Among the Nations; additional people are hidden by Anna Ciesla; escape of her father from the camp; in hiding in different places and with the partisans; liberation, 1945. Her aunt finds her; life with her grandparents; aliya to Israel onboard the ship "LeKommemiyut", 1950.
