Testimony of Chaim Ringel, born in Rasice, Czechoslovakia, 1922, regarding his experiences in the Mateszalka Ghetto, Auschwitz, Buchenwald, Rehmsdorf, a death march and Theresienstadt Life before the war. Re-annexation to Hungary; draft of his father into the Hungarian Army; decrees including deportation of Jews without Hungarian citizenship, forced labor and confiscation of property; return of his father; deportation to the Mateszalka Ghetto, 1944; ghetto life including labor as a postman; deportation to Auschwitz; transfer to Buchenwald; camp life including labor hauling rocks; transfer to Rehmsdorf; death march to Theresienstadt; meets the Red Cross; liberation by the Red Army. Death of his father in Prague; return to Rasice; gave testimony against the head council who looted the family's property and his deportation by the Soviets; aliya to Israel, 1949.
