From a religious Zionist family; the family owns an oil factory; learns in a "heder", a Jewish school and a yeshiva; Mizrachi Youth activities.
Re-annexation to Hungary; decrees including the confiscation of property and draft to a labor division, early 1944; German occupation, March 1944; deportation to the Reghin Sat Ghetto; transfer to Oradea; deportation to Koszeg, September 1944; camp life including labor digging ditches; transfer to Papa; camp life including labor digging ditches; transfer to Schachendorf, February 1945; liberation by the Red Army, March 1945.
Return to Reghin Sat; reunion with two brothers; marriage and starts a family, 1945; aliya to Israel, 1959.
