Soviet occupation, 1940; life under occupation including nationalization of her father's merchandise; German occupation, June 1940; escape to her aunt's house; decrees including yellow badge and establishment of the Cernauti Ghetto; ghetto life including living in the school hall; deportation to Atachi, September 1941; transfer to the Mogilev-Podolski Ghetto; ghetto life including her father's smuggling heating materials and his deportation; her father's return; Soviet partisan acts of revenge against Germans, spring 1944; liberation.
Return to Cernauti, April 1944; move to Vatra Dornei, aliya to Israel, 1958.
