Investigation by the Soviet authorities occupation afor spying; release from detention; end of the war; activities of Aliya Bet; move to a DP camp; establishment and manager of an orphanage with the help of the JDC; marriage in the camp; aliya attempt onboard the ship "Theodor Herzl"; detention in Cyprus; aliya, April 1947.
