Outbreak of the war; escape to Podwolczysk in the Soviet occupied area, September 1939; life in the Soviet occupied area and labor of her father in a hospital until June 1941; joins the Soviet retreat with the hospital; move to the interior of the Soviet Union, June 1941; life in Uzbekistan, Fergana and Tashkent; labor of her father in local hospitals; end of the war. Return to Poland via Kiev; move to Warsaw; life in Warsaw until January 1945; aliya to Eretz Israel via France onboard the "Haganah", 1948.
