Deportation of the family to Atachi, 1941; deportation to Kuzmintsy; camp life including labor in tobacco fields and the death of her father, 1942; liberation by the partisans, 1944. Return to Dancauti; life in Dancauti including attending school; move to Hotin; placed in an orphanage in Iasi; life in the orphanage including work of her mother in the kitchen; aliya to Eretz Israel onboard the "Haganah", 1946.
