Testimony of Eliezer Ludvig Veis, born in Lomne, Czechoslovakia, 1934, regarding his experiences in Novaki and Modry Kamen Life before the war. Decrees, 1941; escape to forests; life in a forest and help from the local partisans; detention by the Slovakian Army; deportation to Novaki; camp life including life in a block for single men; release from the camp during the Slovak National Uprising; escape to Modry Kamen; escape to the surrounding villages; liberation by the Red Army. Return to Stropkov; move to a children's home in Kosice; return to Stropkov; aliya to Israel with Youth Aliya, 1949; enlists in the IDF.
