Testimony of Chaya (Iunger) Gutfrid, born in Vatra Dornei, Romania, 1930, regarding her experiences as a child in the Mogilev-Podolski Ghetto Life before the war. Outbreak of the war; deportation to the Mogilev-Podolski Ghetto, October 1941; ghetto life including the death of her parents and grandmother, April 1942; placed in an orphanage with her brother and sister, autumn 1942; life in the orphanage including the death of her brother; liberation. Return to Romania, autumn 1944; move among adopted families; move with Jewish orphans to Bucharest; illness of her sister and prevented from sailing on the "Mefkure"; move to Bulgaria, Turkey and Syria; aliya to Eretz Israel, December 1944.
