Childhood in a Zionist family; attends a Tarbut school, a Polish high school and the Vilna University; marriage, 1939.
Annexation to the Soviet Union; German occupation, 1941; deportation to the Nowogrodek Ghetto; capture of her parents and sister during the large "Aktion"; ghetto life; labor as a dental assistant outside the ghetto; "Aktion", August 1942; in hiding outside the ghetto: capture; transfer to the ghetto for skilled workers after a bribe is paid to a Ukrainian policeman; escape from the ghetto with her husband, his brother and friends, late August 1942; move to an acquaintance in a village; preparation of a bunker in the forest, October 1942; receives food from the woman from the village; the woman is informed on and injured; Russian partisans murder two members of the group, February 1943; escape to the forest; joins a Jewish partisan unit under Soviet protection; escape into the deepest part of the forest with Tuvia Bielski's unit during a German manhunt; liberation, summer, 1944.
