Drafted to a labor battalion, 1942; labor logging trees in Reghin; the Hungarian officers transfer the labor battalion to the Germans, 1944; deportation to Mauthausen; transfer to Gunskirchen to remove the corpses with the approach of the front; liberation, 1945.
Life in Cluj after the war; aliya to Eretz Israel, 1946; absorption.
