Outbreak of the war, June 1941; air-raids in the areas where Jews live; restrictions on Jews including yellow badge; murder of men and families in hiding; exemption from reporting to the Iasi death trains, Black Sunday, 29 June 1941; overcrowding of Jews into railroad cars including suffocation of many and burial in a mass grave; deportation of the survivors to labor camps; death of her father on the train; escape to her grandparents' home; German Army retreat.
Move to Bucharest by train; aliya to Eretz Israel via Turkey, Syria and Lebanon, 1944; capture by the British Army at Aleppo; detention in Atlit; reunion with relatives in Eretz Israel; marriage, 1949; starts a family.
