From a wealthy religious family; attends a Beit Yaakov school and a local Polish high school.
German occupation; family escapes in the direction of Warsaw; return via Lodz; deportation to the Zdunsk Wola Ghetto, 1942; ghetto life including her father's position on the Judenrat; liquidation of the ghetto; transfer to Lodz; life in hiding in an apartment in the Lodz Ghetto; deportation to Auschwitz; murder of the members of her family except for the witness and her sister; transfer to Freiberg with her sister; labor in an aircraft factory; transfer to Mauthausen; liberation by the US Army, May 1945.
Move to Czechoslovakia; move to Germany; marriage and birth of her daughter; aliya to Eretz Israel, 1948.
