German occupation, 1939; deportation of the family to Stary Sacz; travel of her mother to trade in textile goods in Lodz and Warsaw; transfer of the family to the Szydlowiec Ghetto, 1941; in hiding with her sister in an attic during the "Aktion"; capture by the Germans; deportation to Skarzysko Kamienna; death of her sister from typhus; camp life and labor in a weapons factory; liberation by the Red Army, early 1945.
Life in Czestochowa; return to Lodz; joins Hanoar Hatzioni youth movement; aliya to Israel, 1948; starts a family.
