Testimony of Uriel Levitan, born in Kaunas, Lithuania, 1940, regarding his experiences as a baby in the Kaunas Ghetto and hidden by a non-Jewish family Soviet occupation; exile of his grandparents to Siberia, 1940; German occupation, 1941; establishment of the Kaunas Ghetto; murder of his parents after they are informed on; life hidden by a non-Jewish family; liquidation of the ghettos and murder of most of the Kaunas Jews; liberation. Removal from his hiding place by a female relative; move to Poland under the auspices of Agudat Israel; aliya to Eretz Israel on the ship, “Kadima", 1947.
