Testimony of Yosef Weisz, born 1921 in Csonograd, Hungary, regarding his experiences after the war in Czechoslovakia, Hungary and in Israel
Liberation by the Red Army on the last day of the war, 09.05.1945; communist regime; travel by train from Germany to Prague; hospital in the city until September 1945; travel to Budapest; return to Csonograd; meeting with the sister and relatives; training with the assistance of the JDC; arrest in Kistarcsa by the authorities; release from detention; sailing to Israel via Italy onboard the ship, "Af Al Pi"; aliya to Haifa on 15.09.1949; joins the Jewish National Fund; joins the founders of Kibbutz Yad Hana.
