Outbreak of the war, 1939; German occupation; Vichy laws, 1942; life in hiding in a institution in Moissac; transfer to an institution in Taluyers; drafted to forced labor in accordance with the STO by the Vichy police, 1944; escape from the deportation train; in hiding in Toulouse; help from the JDC to move to Barcelona.
Aliya to Eretz Israel, 1945; return to France, 1948; return aliya, 1970.
