German occupation, September 1939; decrees; closure of Jewish businesses; termination of studies; kidnapping Jews to forced labor; her family grows vegetables in their yard and sells the produce; arrival of refugees from Lodz; ban on ritual slaughter; secret sale of kosher meat in the family's home; informed on; detention of her father and his release; work in weapons factories in the city; deportation to labor in a weapons factory next to Skarzysko Kamienna; camp life including receiving packages from home; help from the station manager; transfer with the weapons factory to Czestochowa, July 1944; camp life; liberation, January 1945. Return to Skarzysko Kamienna; aliya to Eretz Israel via Italy, 1947.
