Collecting corpses of German soldiers; return to Budapest via Bucharest; joins Hanoar Hatzioni youth movement; return to Debrecen; joins the Bericha; organizes groups for aliya to Eretz Israel; help from the JDC to cross to Italy; meets Jewish Brigade soldiers; aliya attempt onboard the "Theodore Herzl"; detention in Cyprus; aliya to Eretz Israel, 1947; starts a family; life on kibbutz and Yesod Hamale.
