Soviet occupation, June 1940; life under Communism; member of the Komsomol; confiscation of property; German occupation, June 1941; in hiding in a stable; looting of the family's home; transfer on foot in the direction of the Dniester River until Bessarabia, July-September 1941; transfer on foot to Mogilev-Podolski; life in Mogilev-Podolski including food trade and disease; death of her father due to hunger, 1943; transfer with a group of orphans to Romania by emissaries from Eretz Israel, among them Yitzhak Artzi; transfer to Barlad; transfer to Bucharest; aliya to Eretz Israel via Turkey and Syria, 24 April 1944; joins a youth movement on Kibbutz Maale Hahamisha; marriage and joins Kibbutz Gvat.
