Testimony of Rivka (Baruhovic) Raviv, born in Pristina, Yugoslavia, 1925, regarding her experiences in Kavaja and hidden by Albanians
From a well-to-do family; relations with the Moslem neighbors.
German occupation, 1941; confiscation of possessions; transfer of authority to the Italians; deportation to Kavaja; camp life; German occupation, September 1943; ransom demand following being informed on regarding the family's wealth; labor with her mother as a laundress for the Germans; hidden by Albanians in the mountains; illnesses.
Return to Pristina, late 1944; aliya to Israel, 1948; illnesses; starts a family.
