Re-annexation to Hungary; confiscation of Jewish owned businesses; termination of Zionist activities; draft of the men for forced labor; displays of antisemitism; deportation to the Oradea Ghetto, 05 April 1944; deportation to Auschwitz; camp life; transfer to Salzwedel; camp life including labor in an ammunitions factory; attitude of the German supervisers; receives food from French POWs; closure the factory; Allied forces air-raids; labor clearing away rubble; the Germans flee; rescue by the French POWs; liberation by the US Army.
