German occupation; escape with relatives to a hiding place in a forest with help from a non-Jew; move to a farmers' family in Bardejov; informed on and detention in a prison in Bardejov; deportation to Poprad with her brother; deportation to Auschwitz; camp life including instances of suicides; labor in agriculture in the Aussenkomando, clearing rocks from destroyed houses and water sources, and other tasks; instances of lesbian relations in camp; a love affair in camp; death march to Ravensbrueck; transfer to Retzow; transfer to a POW camp for Belgians; liberation. Move to Prague; move to Bratislava; return to Bardejov; marriage and aliya to Eretz Israel, 1948.
