Soviet occupation and deterioration of the economic situation; Romanian occupation and anti-Jewish legislation, 1941; wanderings and deportation to Cariera de Piatra; camp life including life in the homes of the local people; meets with mentally handicapped people; typhus; barter with the Ukrainian villagers; deportation of the witness' father to Tulcin by the Germans; joining her father in Tulcin along with her mother and brother, 1943; ghetto life; aliya to Eretz Israel with her brother using a false identity as part of the "Orphans' Aliya", 1944; aliya of her parents to Israel and reunion of the family, 1948.
