Restrictions on Jews; displays of antisemitism with the onset of the Soviet occupation, 1939; nationalisation of businesses; termination of Beitar activities; German occupation, 22 June 1941; deportation to the Olszany Ghetto; ghetto life; transfer to the Kaunas Ghetto; deportation to Kaisiadorys; camp life and labor logging trees and forest work; escape to tforests and wanderings; life in hiding in the Blaszka Potaz forest; contact with the partisans; liberation by the Red Army, 1944. Return to Olszany; marriage, 1947; aliya to Israel onboard the ship "Theodor Herzl", 1959.
