German occupation, March 1944; drafted to a labor camp; rescue from deportation to Bor; forgery of official stamps in order to save his family; escape from the labor camp, August 1944; among the initiators of the establishment of a hospital network in the ghetto; contacts with the Germans: subterfuges for surviving in the hospital; liberation by the Red Army.
Life in Budapest after the war; joins Zionist organizations; participates in the Zionist Congress in Basel; Joint Distribution Committee activities, 1947; aliya to Israel, 1949; life in Israel.
