Soviet occupation, 1940; inclusion of witness's family in the Black List; her parents hide; German occupation, 1941; deportation to the Vilna Ghetto; ghetto life; deportation of her parents in the Large "Aktion"; labor in an SS kitchen; escape to Swieciany with a group; obtains employment laying railroad tracks; transfer to Olkieniki; life in Olkieniki including her appointment as forewoman; helps women at work; shot in the shoulder by a bullet discharged by a Todt person; help from Todt personnel; escape to a forest; life with the partisans; return to Vilna, summer 1944. Aliya to Eretz Israel with seven friends, November 1945.
