Testimony of Kurt Verner, born in Moravska Ostrava, Czechoslovakia, 1925, regarding his experiences in Theresienstadt, Auschwitz-Birkenau, Goleszow and Wolfratshausen German occupation, 1939; deportation of the family to Theresienstadt, 1942; camp life including labor in the kitchen; deportation of the family to Auschwitz-Birkenau, January 1943; murder of his parents; transfer to Goleszow; camp life including labor in a cement factory until 1944; transfer back to Auschwitz; camp life including labor as a gardener for SS officers; death march to Wolfratshausen, January 1945; liberation by the US Army. Return to Theresienstadt; return to Moravska Ostrava; emigration to Uruguay, 1947; aliya to Israel, 1970.
