Letters, memorandums and instructions to the Joodse Raad (Jewish Council) in the Friesland district regarding the supply of food and equipment to Jews in camps in Holland, deportation of Jews to Germany, disease prevention and other, 1942-1943 Many letters dealing with the purchase and sale of food coupons by the Joodse Raad due to rationing: Instructions of the Leeuwarden Joodse Raad regarding the restrictions on the sending of packages to Jews who are in Westerbork, among the reasons is the checking the Lippman Rosenthal bank does when packages arrive to Westerbork and the confiscation of large amounts of food and valuables (p. 29), 22 November 1942; Detailed instructions on the Joodse Raad's welfare department's distribution including equipment that is recommended to take to camps (pp. 61-62 and 71-73) (no date); Memorandum of the Joodse Raad regarding the need to equip inmates that will be deported from Westerbork to Germany with food for three days (pp. 88-89), 31 March 1943.
