German occupation, June 1941; escape to Smolensk; return to Vilna; deportation to the Vilna Ghetto; ghetto life including her sister's wedding and labor in a pharmaceutical factory; evades "Aktions"; rescue from an "Aktion" on Yom Kippur with help from Yaakov Gans, commander of the Jewish police; rescue from an "Aktion" during the liquidation of Ghetto B, October 1941; obtains a work permit; escape from the Vilna Ghetto before the liquidation, 24 September 1943; obtains Aryan documents from the Jewish underground in the ghetto; witness is hidden by a Polish family; arrest when her Jewish identity is discovered; release after paying a bribe; hidden by the Polish family a second time; liberation.
Life after the war; reunion with her sister; emigration to South America; aliya to Israel, 1968.
