Concentration of the Jews in a railroad station, 1941; deportation to Atachi; transfer to Mogilev-Podolski; transfer to a kolkhoz on foot; kolkhoz life including labor harvesting tobacco, until 1942; transfer to the Shargorod Ghetto, autumn 1942; labor for the Germans constructing bridges over the Bug River; liberation by the Red Army, March 1944. Move to Mogilev-Podolski, summer 1944; life in Mogilev-Podolski until May 1945; return to Vatra Dornei; joins Youth Aliyah, 1947; aliya attempt via Bulgaria to Eretz Israel with Youth Aliyah , December 1947; detention in Cyprus; life in a detention camp on Cyprus from January 1948; aliya to Israel, June 1948.
