German occupation, 1944; draft to a labor battalion; labor clearing away rubble; transfer to Mosonmagyarovar; deportation to Mauthausen, 1945; transfer to Gunskirchen; camp life; liberation by the US Army.
Medical treatment at Wiener Neustadt; return to Hosszupalyi; joins Hanoar Hatzioni; aliya attempt via Italy; deportation to Cyprus; aliya to Israel, 1949.
