Childhood in Lodz; the family livelihood came from making bars for the factories in Lodz; learning to dance at the age of 16 (this would prove to be the profession that saved him later on).
Deportation to the Lodz Ghetto with its establishment, 1940; deportation to Grunow camp; forced labor paving the Warsaw-Berlin highway; deportation to Kreising Gestapo camp; relations with the Gestapo; abuse; deportation to Auschwitz-Birkenau, 1943; deportation to Jaworzna camp; forced labor in the coal mines and power station; evacuation from the camp, December 1944; on a death march via Gross-Rosen and Bechhammer camps to Buchenwald concentration camp; deportation to Thuringen; forced labor in a quarry; evacuated on a death march, April 1945; escape to the forests in the Kemnitz area; liberation.
Move to Feldafing DP camp; establishment of the Amcha theater; enlists in Gachal; aliya to Israel, 1948; ramifications of the Holocaust.
In the camps he received better treatment and extra food for dance performances for the Germans; his nickname was "Chirnoichki".
