Re-annexation to Hungary, 1939; drafted into the army; combat in Romania; release from the army, October 1944; illness; hospitalization; deportation to the Hodmezovasarhely labor camp; transfer to Veszprem; camp life including constructing a shooting range; transfer to Szeged; camp life including labor in German Army food warehouses and as a barber for the Hungarian soldiers; US Army air-raids; transfer to Eberau on foot, January 1945; camp life including labor digging pits; liberation by the Red Army, 07 May 1945.
Return home via Budapest; move to a town near Prague; work as a barber; marriage; his son's birth; aliya to Israel via Germany, Austria and France, January 1949.
