Testimony of Moshe Shapira, born in Zborow, Poland, 1921, regarding his experiences in Sosedovo, Vladivostok and in the Polish Army in Breslau and in Dresden Life before the war; attends a high school in Lwow; studies carpentry in Zborow; move to Tarnopol. German occupation, June 1941; escape to Sosedovo; escape to Vladivostok; drafted into the Polish Army, May 1944; military service including combat in Breslau and Dresden; end of the war. Joins Gordonia; wanderings in Czechoslovakia, Hungary, Austria and Italy; aliya attempt on the ship, "Haim Arlozorov"; detention in Cyprus; aliya to Eretz Israel, 1947.
