Testimony of Menachem Fischler, born in Suceava, Romania, 1931, regarding his experiences in Trikhatki and Mogilev-Podolski Life before the war. Deportation to Trikhatki, autumn 1941; transfer to Mogilev-Podolski; life in Mogilev-Podolski and help with the family livelihood; typhus; liberation by the Red Army, 1944. Return to Suceava; aliya attempt to Eretz Israel via Bulgaria onboard the "Geulah", 1947; capture by the British; detention in Cyprus; life in a detention camp; aliya to Eretz Israel with Youth Aliya, December 1947; life in Atlit detention camp; move to Sde Yaakov; participation in the War of Independence in the battle of Mishmar Haemek; aliya of his parents to Israel.
