German occupation, 1939; escape to Lodz; return to Zdunska Wola; life in the Zdunska Wola Ghetto including labor in a smithy; transfer to the Lodz Ghetto, September 1942; ghetto life including labor in a smithy and detention on the charge of stealing; deportation to Czestochowa; transfer to Warta; camp life including labor in a factory and later feeding animals and taking them out to pasture; transfer to Buchenwald, late 1944; camp life including labor clearing rubble; transfer to Dachau, 1945; liberation by the US Army.
Hospitalization and convalescence; return to Zdunska Wola; reunion with his uncle; aliya to Israel via Germany on the ship, "Altalena", 1948; life in Israel including enlists in the IDF and participation in Israel's wars.
