German occupation, 1941; anti-Jewish decrees including yellow badge; deportation to Berehovo; deportation to Auschwitz; camp life including murder of his mother and sister; transfer to Plaszow; transfer to Gross-Rosen; transfer to Langenbielau; camp life including pneumonia; transfer to Doernhau; camp life including labor cleaning; liberation by the Red Army, May 1945.
Convalescence in Budapest; return to Vasarosnameny; aliya to Israel, January 1949.
