Directive from the Reichskommissar fuer das Ostland in Riga to the Generalkommissar (General Commander) of Belorussia in Minsk regarding confiscation of cultural property of value in Belorussia by the Einsatzstab Reichsleiter Rosenberg (ERR - Reichsleiter Rosenberg Taskforce), 1941 Directive regarding the start of ERR activities throughout the Reichskommissatiat Ostland (RKO), including Belorussia; operation of the unit under Reichshauptstellenleiter Gerhard Utikal; confiscation of cultural property of value; designation of 10 objectives, including synagogues, community buildings, rabbinical homes, Jewish book stores, Jewish art stores, Jewish books and Jewish-owned art collections, buildings belonging to the Communist Party as well as organizations and movements affiliated with the party, Freemason lodges and buildings of the Anglican Church (if found in the area), its archives and libraries; requirement of the local commanders to file a report when the directive is executed.
